Premios y nominaciones

El trabajo de Kor'sia ha sido reconocido en diferentes Concursos Coreográficos por Europa:

· 2º Premio en el Concurso Coreográfico de Madrid (España, 2014).

· 1er Premio Concurso Internacional Burgos-Nueva York (España, 2015).

· 2do premio en el Concurso Internacional de Coreografía de Copenhague (Dinamarca, 2015).

· 1er Premio en el XXI Concours Chorégraphique Contemporain Jeunes Compagnies (Francia, 2015).

· 1er Premio en el Concours de Jeunes Chorégraphes (Opéra National de Bordeaux, Ballet Malandain y Opéra National du Rhin) (Francia, 2018).

· 1er Premio en la Tanzplattform de Berna (Suiza) (Suiza, 2018).

· La compañía fue nominada al Mejor Espectáculo de Danza en los Premios Max 2018 (España, 2018).


Festivales

KOR'SIA ha sido seleccionada como una de las veinte compañías  emergentes de la red Aerowawes Europe en 2019 y ha realizado giras con sus creaciones en festivales como: Les Synodales (Francia), Dantzaldia Festival (España), Bologna Gender Bender Festival (Italia) , Venecia Prozact Palazzo Ca 'Zanardi Venice Expo (Italia), Festival Agitart de Figueres (España), Festival PRISMA Panamá (Panamá), Madrid en Danza (España), Tanzplattform de Berna (Swizerland), Lucky Trimmer! de Berlín (Alemania), BE Birmingham Festival (Reino Unido), RomaEuropa Festival (Italia), Bolzano Danza Festival (Italia), Festival Opera Estate Bassano del Grappa, (Italia) Statstheatre Darmstadt, (Alemania) Opera de Bordeaux (Francia) y en el Suzanne Dellal Center en Tel Aviv.

 

Site specific: como colectivo joven, las obras de Kor'sia han  sido invitadas a crear obras site specific con lugares culturales de renombre como: Museo de la Ciencia y el Cosmo de La Laguna (España), o el Museo del Prado, Madrid (España), Museo de Bellas Artes en Bilbao (España), Pabellón de España de la Expo de Milán, Milán (Italia).

Kor'sia crea para otras compañías de danza

 

Como coreógrafos Antonio de Rosa y Mattia Russo, han  sido invitados a crear para otras compañías como:

- Jeux - Nijinsky para el Ballet Víctor Ullate (2018, Madrid, España)

· Siciliana, para el Teatro Massimo de Palermo (2018, Palermo, Italia)

· Engel in Blau - Paul Klee para el Konzert Theatre Bern (2019, Berna, Suiza)

· Pagliaccio para el Ballet de la Ópera Rhin (2019, Mulhouse, Francia).

ANTONIO DE ROSA /ARTISTIC DIRECTOR /CHOREPGRAPHER /CO-FOUNDER:

 Born in Naples, began studying classical and contemporary dance at the National Academy in Rome, then in Milan, at the Teatro alla Scala Ballet School, where he graduated in 2008. Antonio de Rosa first worked with Maggio Fiorentino, Arena di Verona and Teatro alla Scala. 

In 2011 he joined the Compañía Nacional de Danza de España, directed by José Carlos Martinez,

as solios Dancer.

He works with choreographers such as William Forsythe, Mat Ek, Goyo Montero, José Carlos Martinez,Jiri Kylian,Nacho Duato,Ivan Perez,Marcos Morau, Itzik Galilli, Ohad Naharin, Johan Inger,  Rudolf Nureyev, George Balanchine,  Maurice Bèjart, Roland Petit, Angelin Preljocaj ecc,
As a choreographer created ballets created for the Compañía Nacional de Danza, Victor Ullate Ballet,Konzert theatre Bern ,CCN Ballet de l’Opéra national du Rhin, Teatro Massimo Palermo and Kor’sia.

He receives the Award by the International Dance Festival Positano’ Leonide Massine’ .

In January 2015, he created the KOR’SIA collective in Madrid together with the artists

Mattia Russo and Giuseppe Dagostino and Agnes Lopez Rio.

Since 2017, de Rosa has focused its activity in KOR’SIA where it is, together with

Mattia Russo, Artistic Director, Choreographer and Dancer. 

 

The work of  Antonio as choreographers was recognized with the

2nd Prize in the Choreographic Contest in Madrid(Spain, 2014);

1st Prize of the Burgos-New York International Competition(Spain, 2015),

2nd prize in the Copenhagen International Choreography Competition (Denmark, 2015);

1st Prize at the XXI Concours Chorégraphique Contemporain Jeunes Compagnies(France, 2015);

1st Prize at the Concours de Jeunes Chorégraphes (Opéra

National de Bordeaux, Ballet Malandain and Opéra National du Rhin) (France, 2018) and

1st Prize at the Tanzplattform in Bern)(Switzerland, 2018).

MATTIA RUSSO / ARTISTIC DIRECTOR /CHOREPGRAPHER /CO-FOUNDER:

 Born in the province of Avellino, began studying classical and contemporary dance at the National Academy in Rome, then in Milan, at the Teatro alla Scala Ballet School, where he graduated in 2008. He began his career at the Choreographic Center the Generalitat Valenciana, in Spain, and then work for Introdans, later for the Compañía Nacional de Danza in Madrid. Mattia Russo over the years has worked with several choreographers including: Gustavo Ramirez Sansano, Nacho Duato, Ramon Oller, Mats Ek, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Jiri Kylian, Robert Battle, Didy Veldman, Marcos Morau, Hans van Manen, William Forsythe, Goyo Montero , Itzik Galili, Ohad Naharin,Joan Inger. 

As a choreographer created ballets created for the Compañía Nacional de Danza, Victor Ullate Ballet, Konzert theatre Bern,CCN Ballet de l’Opéra national du Rhin and Kor’sia.

In August of 2014 he received the "Young Talent" by the International Dance Festival Positano’ Leonide Massine’

In January 2015, he created the KOR’SIA collective in Madrid together with the artists

Mattia Russo and Giuseppe Dagostino and Agnes Lopez Rio.

Since 2017, Russo  has focused its activity in KOR’SIA where it is, together with

Antonio de Rosa, Artistic Director, Choreographer and Dancer.
